SURVEYING SERVICE

SURFACE MEASUREMENT

1. Obligations of the Contracting Entity prior to the survey 

1.1. Ensures safe access to the building and all necessary premises.
1.2. Removes old worktops before surveying.
1.3 Kitchen cabinets must be leveled and secured. Deviation of the planked surfaces is allowed ±1 mm per one (1) metre.
1.4 All equipment for which openings are to be made in the work surface (sinks, hotplates, mixers, etc.) must be present on site. This is necessary in order to check the shape and position of the openings.
1.5. The Buyer's representative must be present at the site survey to coordinate the final solutions.

2. Deferring the measurement 

2.1 If it is necessary to postpone the Measurement, the Buyer shall notify the Seller in advance at least one (1) working day before the agreed Measurement Time.

2.2. Additional measurements are at extra charge.

3. Carrying out the measurement according to the Buyer's instructions.

The measurement of surfaces is done from the installed cabinets. If no measurements can be taken and the stone drawing is based on the Buyer's instructions, the Buyer shall be responsible for the suitability of the details.

4. Restrictions after surveying

Not after the survey has been carried out:
4.1. Change the positioning of kitchen cabinets;
4.2. Alter or finish the walls surrounding the work surface;
 

5. Approval of stone surface drawings

5.1 The Seller shall provide the Buyer with a drawing of the stonework made on the basis of the measured surfaces.

5.2. The Buyer checks the drawing:

  • material 
  • thickness, surface finish
  • edge shape
  • number of openings
  • the dimensions of your own given details

5.3. Send written confirmation of the drawing by e-mail.

5.4. The time of production and installation shall be agreed.

6. Need for a hoist or crane

If lifting aids or cranes are required to carry out the works, the Seller shall coordinate the cost thereof with the Buyer.

INSTALLATION SERVICE

7. Providing access to the installation site

7.1. Provide a space for the van near the entrance.
7.2 Provide a safe route from the parking place to the entrance of the installation site, including anti-slip measures in winter.
7.3 Protect floors with strong, slip-resistant material. N.B. Installers will use safety footwear - The vendor will not be liable for soiling or damage to floors if protection is not provided.

8. Buyer's obligations during installation

8.1 Provide adequate working space on site - the space must be free from building materials and other obstructions.
8.2 The Buyer's equipment to be installed by the Seller shall be visible and accessible. If the equipment is not available, a new installation time and cost will be agreed.

8.3 Ensure a room temperature of at least +15°C for two (2) days before and after installation. At lower temperatures the Seller cannot guarantee the quality of the silicone liners.
8.4 Temporarily remove window or door sills, high side panels, high cupboards, etc. as necessary.

9. Refusal of installation 

The Seller has the right to refuse installation if points 7 and 8 are not complied with. In such a case, a new installation time and cost will be agreed.

10. Notification of change of installation

The Buyer is obliged to inform the Seller at least two (2) working days before the agreed installation time if there is a wish to postpone or cancel the installation.

11. In case of wrong measurements

If it is not possible to install a worktop made according to the dimensions provided by the Buyer, the Buyer shall be informed thereof. In this case, the installers may interrupt the work. The Buyer shall be invoiced for any additional work, if necessary, in accordance with the Seller's current price list.

12. Duration of installation works

Unforeseen circumstances may arise during installation. Therefore, the duration of the installation work may vary.

13. 24 hours after installation is not recommended!

13.1. Use of work space;
13.2.Make water and electricity connections to the stove and sink.
13.3. Carry out finishing work;
13.4. Do not remove silicone liners or wash the work surface.

13.5 Damaged silicone will be recorded as extra work.

14. Surface cleaning and maintenance

14.1 The Client shall clean the stone surfaces with water and a cloth before use.

14.2 For the maintenance of surfaces, the manufacturer shall consult the instruction manual.
