MAINTENANCE OF SILESTONE QUARTZ SURFACES

Because Silestone quartz does not contain pores, dirt is not easily absorbed into the material. As a result, there is no need for surface protection or waxing. Usually, wiping with a dry cloth is sufficient to remove dirt.

Daily cleaning

For daily cleaning, a wipe with a damp cloth is sufficient. A damp cloth and a neutral detergent will suffice to remove heavier dirt. For cleaning, CIF Cream dissolved in warm water or Sileston Q-ACTION can be used. Clean with a cloth and rinse generously with warm water.

Dried dirt

Dried dirt can be cleaned with CIF Gream or Sileston Q-ACTION cleaner applied with a soft sponge. Rub off the dirt and rinse with warm water. A plastic scraper can be used to remove hard dirt.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Mechanical damage must be avoided.
  • Cleaning by scraping with a sharp object or sandpaper is prohibited.

  • We recommend the use of a cutting board for cutting.Modern knives that overcut can damage the surface.
  • Do not sit or stand on the work surface.

Resistance to chemicals.

Whitening agents If left on for more than 12 hours, the gloss of the quartz surface may disappear. Cleaning agents(PH>10) If exposed for more than 12 hours, the gloss of the quartz surface may be lost.
